Tans and Hair Cuts

OK, so we know that a white dress looks absolutely amazing with a nice tan. We also know that you might want your significant other to look their very best, with a fresh hair cut. But please, please, please, please, please DO NOT get a spray tan or a hair cut the day before your wedding!

Anyone who has ever gotten a spray tan knows that it takes a bit of time for it to look right. We are quite sure that you don’t want to look orange in your wedding portraits, like you just rolled in a bag of cheetos dust. (a certain person comes to mind, but we will leave that alone) In addition, if it comes out splotchy or weird, you want to have time to try to get it fixed before the actual wedding day. So, give yourself a few days to perfect that glowing tanned look, and take the day before your wedding to relax or finish up details.

In terms of getting a haircut, we are all for you looking amazing on your big day. However, if there is a slip of the scissors or clippers or its shorter than you wanted, you won’t have time to let it grow out or fix if you do it the day before. So again, get your cut 2-3 days before the wedding so that you don’t end up with a haircut that you hate on your wedding day. (Images below are from How I Met Your Mother)
